[Rating Report] Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim – Week 3

Impressive!!

That’s the only word that came into mind as ‘Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim’ inches closer to reaching the coveted 20 percent viewership rating. AGB Nielsen Korea reports that the sixth episode recorded an 18.9 percent rating, a 2.4 percent increase from the fifth episode that clocked in a 16.5 percent rating. The drama also ranks first in the Content Power Index (CPI) on the second  week of November (7 – 13) with 250.1 points. The two statistics are the testaments of just how popular ‘Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim’ is.

Episode 5
AGB: Nationwide 16.5%, Metropolitan 17.9%
TNMS: Nationwide 15.2%, Metropolitan 18.2%

Episode 6
AGB: 18.9%
TNMS: Nationwide – 17.4%, Metropolitan: 20.6%

The future seems brighter for ‘Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim’ as the air ambulance / helicopter transfer, where Yoo Yeon Seok and Han Suk Kyu send patient to be operated by orthopaedic surgeon, recorded the best rating peak at 23.11 percent.

The drama also has been receiving praise for its attention to medical detail. The romance is equally alluring. Just look at the way Kang Dong Joo (Yoo Yeon Seok) playfully yet intentionally asks his crush Yoon Seo-Jung (Seo Hyun Jin) to play melodrama between them. Are you ask her out, Dong Joo ya? Seo-Jung might not budge down with his request but for us… swooooonnnn. Stop giving her that ‘chilbongie’ look, Yoo Yeon Seok!

And that subtle smile and look as he holds her hand when she sleeps… #heartbreak

For YeoNizens, have you been enjoying the drama as much as we do?
