Yoo Yeon Seok to Cameo in Movie ‘Chunmong’

It is very likely that we need to wait 84 years before Yoo Yeon Seok makes a drama comeback.

Simply because Yoo Yeon Seok just signed up to cameo in a movie by Director Zhang Lu titled ‘Chunmong’.  The movie has its leading lady in actress Han Ye Ri whose character is loved by three different men. All three of them love her and try to win her heart yet they rely on each other for comfort and support.

In ‘Chunmong’, Yoo Yeon Seok will cameo as a man with mysterious aura and cold eyes who just so happens to be strikingly handsome. Han Ye Ri’s character is said drawn by the coldness in his eyes and soon the three men are jumping to hate Yoo Yeon Seok’s character.

Yoo Yeon Seok will not be the only actor to cameo in the movie. Shin Min Ah (Oh My Venus), Jo Dal Hwan (The Magician), Kim Tae Hoon (One More Happy Ending) and Kim Eui Seong (Six Flying Dragon) will make their cameo appearance as well.

Just a trivia for all YeoNizens, Yoo Yeon Seok and Han Ye Ri as well as Kim Tae Hoon were spotted in the same event back in 2013. The three of them participated in the 7th Green Ribbon Marathon at Seoul World Cup Stadium in September 2013. Want some proof? Here we go ~

Yoo Yeon Seok also shared some sweet stories from the filming set.  Quoted from Soompi, Yoo Yeon Seok reveals, “When Han Hyo Joo and Chun Woo Hee sing and act, they look really pretty. So, I took a lot of pictures secretly of them when they were filming, and I gave these photos to them afterwards as gifts.” At the end of the filming, Yoo Yeon Seok made an album to house the pictures he took of Han Hyo Joo and Chun Woo Hee as gift. Chun Woo Hee expressed that she was really touched by Yoo Yeon Seok’s sweet gesture since this is the first time she received a gift like that.

Well, in the next video shared by OBS News, there is really nothing secret about him taking pictures of his leading ladies. Han Hyo Joo was fully aware that he took a picture of her while Chun Woo Hee smiled brightly when Yoo Yeon Seok showed her the picture he took of her.

As you all know, he loves to take pictures and carries around his polaroid camera everywhere. He even keep the camera in his car at all times. In one of our posts during the promotion of ‘Mood of the Day’, Yoo Yeon Seok was revealed to take picture of female staff members working for the movie and gifted the picture as part of pepero day celebration. He also took candid pictures of the chef during his guesting in ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator‘.

[Eng Sub] Yoo Yeon Seok’s and Moon Chae Won’s ‘Mood of the Day’ movie trailer and posters

When the movie casting news were out back then, we thought the movie was going to be a romantic drama ala Before Sunrise but it turns out that it will a romantic comedy instead!

The characters’ posters were released along with the movie trailer earlier this week. Truth be told, we had mixed feelings about the movie’s synopsis, description and trailer. “Goodness why is he like that?! SMH” “Oooh look at his hair wow he looks good” “Ugh, run Soo Jung, run!” and a variety of reactions more. Haha.

Below is the subbed trailer and you can see Yoo Yeon Seok playing Jae Hyun, a cheeky but problematic pursuer.  Lol he’s so shameless, really. Hopefully the full movie will lean more on the fun and cheeky side than the uncomfortable side. *pleaseeeeee*

Here are the posters and their descriptions from Hancinema :

“Mood of the Day” is a romantic comedy about an impregnable girl and a blind hole guy meeting one day on the KTX and waging on a one-night-stand.

Yoo Yeon-seok and Moon Chae-won are expected to bring sweet romance to theaters this January.

Yoo Yeon-seok plays Jae-hyeon, a guy who doesn’t fail to get any woman he wants and believes that one-night-stands are also love.

Moon Chae-won is a cheerful and loveable character who has had her eyes set on only one man for the last 10 years.

The poster shows the mental thoughts of young men and women these days. Yoo Yeon-seok being a sports agent, poses in the poster with a basketball, looking very carefree. The poster says, “I can get what I want if I want to. Between grown-ups, is that too hard?”

 photo mcw - mood poster.jpg

Moon Chae-won being the youngest cosmetic brand company marketing team manager, she poses with a camera case, a file and make-up case. She looks like a haughty career woman who won’t be an easy one to break. Her poster says, “Is it easy to spend a night with someone you just met?”

Tsk tsk Jae Hyun…

Anyway, on December 8, Yoo Yeon Seok, Moon Chae Won and the director will attend a ‘production report’ event at CGV Apgujeong. Maybe we’ll get more materials on the movie other than these trailer, two posters and one still cut.

The movie is set to be released in January 2016 but there is no words on the exact date, yet.
